Use the 8th (Eighth) Edition of the Myers Textbook

This is a computer-assisted INDEPENDENT STUDY course.  Students work independently

and at their own pace.  While independent study has some advantages for some students,
this type of course is Not For Everyone.  Please consider who you feel about working
independently at home before choosing this class over a more tradiational lecture course.
(Click Here for MORE INFORMATION on the topic of Independent Study).

COMPUTER ACCESS is REQUIRED to utilize the textbook web site and to complete
quizzes and exams administered via the Internet.  Research Modules are also completed online.

If you cannot access the Internet, this section is not for you.  However, the University
provides open access to the Internet on each campus (click here for details).

A NOTE ON SCHEDULING!!  New University Policies indicate that this course should be completed in 15 weeks.
Those who are more than halfway finished three weeks before the end of the term may request a grade of Incomplete (I)
while they use an extra
5 weeks to finish their work.  Students on financial aid probation (you should have been notified
of this online or by mail
) should use the 15-week period and finish by the last day of the regular term in order to
avoid problems getting aid in future terms. Students with questions about how an
 incomplete grade might affect them
should contact financial aid ( http://www.metrostate.edu/aid/ )
